Christina is passionate about pets and education, not just for learning new skills but to keep skills updated and ensure that pet welfare and happiness is at the centre of all we do. A seasoned and well experienced educator and trainer with over 25 years experience of not just delivering training but also writing courses, she is fully qualified as a Trainer, Assessor, Internal Verifier and External Verifier.
She has been working with the Scottish Government for the last couple of years on the potential regulation of the pet industry, and part of that means looking at the accessibility of grooming training for people who would like to enter the industry, especially young people. An ambition of Christina’s is to see pet grooming taught in colleges in Scotland and approved apprenticeship routes into the industry. Watch this space!
We don’t offer ‘Certificates of Attendance’ – you deserve better. You need to know your training is to the same standard as everyone else’s and you have the protection of the Awarding Body should there be any issues. Our vision is to create an accessible training environment for those who wish to enter the industry; to better equip those within the industry and to offer them valuable additional skills that they can then pass on to their customers; to ensure that pet owners have all the knowledge needed to make them responsible and knowledgeable with regards to their own pets.
